Connecting to Citrix

Open your web browser and navigate to https://ctx.american-club.com and enter your credentials

After clicking Log On, you will be prompted by our two-factor authentication system, DUO. Choose your preferred authentication method, though Push is recommended.

You will receive a notification on your mobile like the one depicted below. To continue with the login process, please approve the connection.

NOTE: If this is your first login attempt, you will need to go through the subsequent steps. Otherwise, you should be presented with the custom American Club Welcome Page.

When prompted, click on Detect Receiver.

In the following window, be sure to click:

  1. Open URL:Citrix:Receiver
  2. I agree with the Citrix license agreement
  3. Download

When the download is complete, click on Continue. Note: you do not have to open the download file. Just click Continue within the Citrix Receiver page.

Once the Receiver is successfully installed and two-factor authentication has completed, your new Citrix environment will launch.

From within here, you can lauch Calm, email, and access the shared drives via Explorer.

Note on disk drives:

Local Disk C and D are the drives associated to the PC you are connecting from. If you wish to save something from your Citrix session, please use the Local Disk (C:).

We recommend creating a folder called Citrix and dropping files there. The image below shows the window displayed within Citrix and the window displayed on the local PC. As you can see, they are a mirror of each other.

When you’re done working, please click your name in the upper right hand corner and choose the option to Log Off. This will terminate your Citrix session.
